It is indicated in case of: persistent nausea and / or vomiting, digestive difficulties, gastroesophageal reflux, suspected celiac disease, dysphagia.

Rectosigmoidocoloscopy

Rectosigmoidocoloscopy, or colonoscopy, is a diagnostic test that allows one to analyze the lower digestive tract: the rectum, the sigma, the colon, the ileocecal valve and the terminal ileum. It is performed by inserting a flexible probe into the rectum and allows, in addition to analyzing the affected areas, to perform biopsies and remove polyps.

It is indicated in case of: persistent abdominal pain, recurrent constipation or diarrhea, blood loss from the rectum, occult blood in the stool.
